Firefox seeehr langsam

Hallo allerseits,
Ich, Win7 Prof 64bit, habe folgendes Phäomen bemerkt: wenn ich auf einen Link in einer E-mail klicke, öffnet sich Firefox und es passiert nichts. In der Adresszeile ist zwar der Link eingetragen, aber er sucht... Eigentlich benutze ich Iron als Browser, er lässt sich aber nicht als Standardbrowser einrichten. Das Problem besteht glaube ich, seit Firefox 6, jetzt benutze ich Version 8. Ich habe nun IE als Standardbrowser eingerichtet, möchte aber auf Firefox nicht verzichten. Übrigens, Deinstallation mit allen Komponenten und Neuinstallation haben nichts gebracht. Schöne Weihnachten an alle.

Wenn du dein Iron als Standard Browser willst musst du nur in der Regestry einige Einträge unternehmen. (Windows Taste + R -> "regedit" ohne "" eingeben)

Bitte immer die Pfade zu deinen Browser entsprechend Anpassen bevor du etwas Unternimmst!!

Ansosnten könntest du Versuchen Firefox mal ohne Toolbars und sonstigen Schnick Schnack zu Installieren, bei mir läuft er halbwegs schnell und performant.

Danke für Deine Mühe, ich habe schon diverse kleinere Änderungen in der Registry nach Tipps aus dem Forum vorgenommen, hat immer nichts gebracht (Iron als Standard-Browser einrichten). Solch umfangreiche Änderungen möchte ich doch nicht in Angriff nehmen. Nochmals Danke und schöne Weihnachten
