typing a new email address in the outlook address line

can anyone help. when I type a new email address (one not in the contact list) in the outlook address line it does not accept the @ symbol?

i have to bypass by typing the @ in another doc and then copying and pasting.

there must be a better way?? Roy

What´s the error notification?

Try to write the email address and write a ";" after it and press the spacebar!

Hi. there is no error notification. Quite simply when I type "Ctr+Alt+Q" in the address line absolutely nothing happens. all other characters work. but without a @ there is no email address! Regards, Royjenkins

Maybe... Try "Alt Gr + Q". Does it work?

"Alt Gr" is the same like "Ctrl + Alt"...
